CEO of Eastern Health Cluster

Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Second International Gastroenterology and Digestive Health Conference, held from May 3rd to May 5th, 2026.

Gastrointestinal and liver diseases represent a growing health challenge in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, including conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel diseases, and chronic liver disorders, all of which significantly affect patients’ quality of life and require continuous advancement in diagnosis and treatment.

In Saudi Arabia, major progress has been made in the management of digestive diseases through specialized gastroenterology units and advanced endoscopy services within the Eastern Health Cluster, including Qatif Central Hospital and Prince Mohamed Bin Fahad Hospital, offering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care.

This conference highlights the latest developments in gastroenterology, hepatology, and advanced endoscopic techniques, while supporting the Saudi Model of Care in delivering integrated, patient-centered services. We look forward to valuable scientific exchange that enhances clinical practice and improves patient outcomes.
